Oil prices declined in Asia session as traders worry about the commodity’s demand outlook after Moody’s downgraded US’s credit rating. The brent future was trading 0.18% down at $65.29 a barrel as of 8:24 a.m.

US Market Update: Share Indices Rise
US share indices ended higher on Friday despite giving up some gains in the late hours as Moody’s downgraded US’s rating.
On Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.78% at 42,654.74, the S&P 500 rose 0.70% at 5,958.38, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.52% at 19,211.10.
GIFT Nifty Implies Flat Open; RVNL, Sun Pharma, Shipping Corp In Focus
The GIFT Nifty was trading 0.27% or 67 points down at 25,064.50 as of 6:54 a.m., which implied 46 points higher open for the Nifty 50 index.
Traders will focus on Divi’s Laboratories Ltd., Premier Energies Ltd., KEC International Ltd., Shipping Corp of India, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries share prices because of the earning released last week.
The NSE Nifty 50 closed 42.30 points or 0.17% lower at 25,019.8 and the BSE Sensex ended 200.15 points 0.24% lower at 82,330.59.
