Gold extended gains into Wednesday and was trading more than Rs 100 higher at Rs 95,320 per 10 grams as of 7 a.m., according to the India Bullion Association. On Tuesday, the commodity was trading at Rs 93,700.

New Delhi too saw a surge of more than Rs 100 as gold prices touched Rs 94,990 per 10 grams. Similar trends were followed by other metro cities like Mumbai and Kolkata where the gold prices were Rs 95,150 per 10 grams and Rs 95,020 per 10 grams respectively. In Bangalore the rate was 95, 230 per 10 grams.

Chennai once again saw the highest surge to Rs 95,430 per 10 grams.

The futures prices for the yellow metal on the Multi Commodity Exchange saw a nearly 2% jump to Rs 94,899 for the June 5 futures after being Rs 93,285 on Tuesday.

Silver Prices Today

Silver price also increased to trade at Rs 97,600 per kg on May 21, 2025. Silver futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange for July 4, 2025 although higher than May 20 were trading flat at Rs 97,288 as compared to Rs 95,424 on Tuesday.
