Gold price in India fell to Rs 92,640 per 10 grams as of 7 a.m. but was trading in the green on May 15, according to the India Bullion Association. The gold price was at Rs 94,070 per 10 grams as of 7 a.m. on May 14.
Rates in New Delhi also dropped to Rs 92,310 per 10 grams, according to the association. The price in Mumbai was lower at Rs 92,470. In Kolkata, the rate was down to Rs 92,350. In Bengaluru gold was trading at Rs 92,540. While, in Chennai, the rate fell sharply to Rs 92,740 from Rs 94,170 on Wednesday but was the highest in the nation.
The futures prices for the yellow metal on the Multi Commodity Exchange were up 0.01% to Rs 92,270 for the June 5 futures. On Wednesday, futures were higher at Rs 93,700. The gold price had crossed the Rs 97,000 per 10-gram mark for the first time on the MCX in April, touching fresh highs.
Silver Price Today
The price for silver also fell to Rs 95,680 on May 15 after being at Rs 96,880 on Wednesday at 7 a.m. The commodity was trading in the green. Silver futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange for July 4, 2025, were down 0.05% to Rs 95,420.
