The trading activity on newly listed Belrise Industries calls for close scrutiny of trades on the listing day. The IPO of the two-wheeler auto components company closed the day 8.23% higher at the end of the listing day.

Auto component major, Belrise Industries, listed on the stock exchanges on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. The company raised Rs 2,150 crore via fresh issue that closed on Friday May 23, 2025 and was subscribed 43.74 times. The issue priced at Rs 90 per share closed 8.23% higher on Wednesday.

An analysis of the shareholding shows that 73.01% of the company’s shareholding is with the promoters and is locked. 26.99% of the remainder is held by the public, including institutions, and net of anchor allotment shares were available for free trade.

The stock had a combined trading turnover of Rs 2,130 crore nearly equivalent to the total size of the IPO and 130% of the net IPO size available for trade and free float after accounting for lock-in of anchor shares (lock-in stood at 7.16 crore shares) . That is out of 16.72 crore shares freely available for trading; total shares that were traded stood at 21.86 crore shares.

Out of this 10.02 crore shares got delivered on both the exchanges i.e. 45.85% of the total shares traded were delivered (Rs 977 crore). This means 11.27% of the company’s total outstanding shares changed hands and got delivered at the end of the trading day.

The net IPO was subscribed over 43.7-times with retail category getting subscribed 4.3 times. NII under the Rs 10 lakh category subscribed 26.17 times and NII above Rs 10 lakh category getting subscribed 48.74 times. The QIB category was subscribed 114.26 times.
