Stock Market Live Update: Gold At Record High
Gold prices marked a fresh record high as it crossed the Rs 1,10,000 mark with prices at Rs 1,10,650 on Tuesday. The prices were at Rs 1,09,820 per 10 gm on Monday, according to the India Bullion Association. Gold recently crossed the Rs 1,09,000 mark and since then, the yellow metal surged to over Rs 1,09,800 to hit the previous record.
Expectations of a possible rate cut from the Fed also drove the rally. The escalation of geopolitical tensions globally has pushed the demand for the yellow metal higher, according to market and commodities expert Anuj Gupta.

At pre-open, the NSE Nifty 50 was trading 37 points or 0.15% lower at 25,026.60. The BSE Sensex was 0.13% lower at 81,682.5.
Stock Market Live: JPMorgan Cutting India Concentration In Emerging Markets
India’s weighting in a JPMorgan’s emerging markets bond index will be reduced as part of a broader change aimed at addressing investor feedback over concentration and regional balance, according to a person familiar with the matter.
The country weight cap will fall to 9% from 10%, with the adjustment scheduled for the first half of 2026, the person told NDTV Profit, adding that the reduction will not be limited to India but will apply across all countries in the index.

Cantor has assumed coverage on Adani Green Energy Ltd., maintaining an ‘Overweight’ rating, while updating estimates and setting a new target price of Rs 1,139 from Rs 1,155, which indicates a 16% upside.
The brokerage believes management’s FY2026 outlook remains strong, with approximately 5 GW of additions on schedule.

“Benchmark indices could see a subdued to weak opening despite gains in other global equity gauges as uncertainty over the outcome of US-India tariff dispute and higher valuations of domestic stocks continue to weigh on the sentiment” according to Prashanth Tapse, Senior VP of Research, Mehta Equities.
All eyes will be on Wednesday’s US Fed meet on interest rates, which will give some hint for the short-term direction.
Technically, Nifty has a biggest support at its 100-DMA at 24861 mark, while the benchmark index could gain strength only above the 25,670 level, he added.

Oil prices steadied after two days of gains as investors weighed the potential of further Western sanctions on Russian supplies.
Brent traded above $67 a barrel after adding 1.6% in the two previous two sessions, while West Texas Intermediate was near $63.
