Hyundai: Why This Brokerage Initiated On The Stock

Nuvama has initiated coverage on Hyundai Motor India Ltd. with a ‘buy’ rating, setting an ambitious target price of Rs 2,955, with a 4% upside.

The positive view is driven by the company’s strong market position as India’s second-largest passenger vehicle original equipment manufacturer and its promising product pipeline, which includes 26 new models and refreshes.

TCS: What Brokerages Say Post Q1 Earnings

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. still has favour among analysts, despite a weak start to the current financial year.

Citi expects slowing growth to put pressure on premium multiples and estimates TCS’s earnings will grow at a 3% CAGR in three years. “The company’s cost optimisation efforts have helped deliver relatively good margin performance,” the brokerage said.

The GIFT Nifty was trading near 25,290 early Friday. The futures contract based on the benchmark Nifty 50 fell 0.48% at 25.290 as of 7:11 a.m. indicating a negative start for the Indian markets.

The Indian benchmark equity indices continued to fall for a second session on Thursday, dragged by share prices of Bharti Airtel Ltd., and HDFC Life Insurance Co.

The NSE Nifty 50 ended 120.85 points, or 0.47% lower at 25,355.25, while the BSE Sensex closed 345.80 points, or 0.41% down at 83,190.28. During the day, Nifty fell 0.53% to trade at 25,340.45 and Sensex declined 0.48% to 83,134.97.
